About Pixel Plulse
We're building the gaming resource we always wished existed: detailed, opinionated, and made by players for players.
The Story So Far
Pixel Plulse exists because two players got tired of surface-level coverage and decided to fix it themselves. Micah and Nico have been gaming across Nintendo, PlayStation, and Xbox since the days of cartridge blowing and red-ring panic, and this site is where that accumulated knowledge lives: game reviews built on full playthroughs, hardware guides tested by hand, and tier lists that reflect actual screen time rather than trending opinions.
That experience spans four console generations and a global gaming landscape that doesn't stop at one region's release schedule. We cover titles, hardware, and platform updates with an audience in mind that plays across every timezone, because gaming stopped being local a long time ago.
Want to write for us? We're looking for contributors who know their platform inside out and can back their takes with playtime. If that sounds like you, get in touch through our contact page. The lobby's open.
AKA RogueSignal
PlayStation and Nintendo lead with 130+ platinums and a strict no-publish-before-finishing policy. Specializes in narrative-driven games, RPGs, and the kind of 80-hour campaigns he swears he doesn't have time for but always starts anyway. Mains support in every multiplayer game. Complains about it constantly. Never switches.
"The right man in the wrong place can make all the difference in the world." — G-Man, Half-Life 2
Nico Fazlesvic
AKA VoltHound
Game Pass lead, hardware obsessive, and the cross-platform comparisons guy. Reviews built on mechanics, performance, and value rather than cutscenes (he skips those). Bought a PS5 to prove it was overrated, accidentally became a fan, and now covers all three platforms with the reluctant objectivity of someone who's been personally hurt by brand loyalty.
"The cake is a lie." — Portal

Contact Us
Whether you want to tip us off about a game we need to cover, tell us our tier list is objectively wrong, or pitch us something you've written, we want to hear it. We're always looking for contributors who know their platform, back their opinions with playtime, and can write about games without sounding like a press release. If you're a reviewer, guide writer, hardware tester, or specialist in a corner of Nintendo, PlayStation, or Xbox that we haven't reached yet, send us your pitch and a writing sample. We don't care about your follower count, we care about whether you've actually played the game. Business inquiries, partnership proposals, and collaboration requests are welcome too. Hit us up through the contact page and we'll get back to you.
